employment relations educationYou and your staff can access subsidised training through the Employment Relations Education scheme, made available to you by EMA Central. ACC 'ThinkSafe' also provides funding for Health & Safety representatives, managers and team leaders. About the ERE Fund Under the Employment Relations Act 2000, a contestable fund was established to support the principle objective of the Act, which is to build productive employment relationships through the promotion of mutual trust and confidence. The aim of employment relations education is to increase skills and knowledge of employment matters, to improve relationships in the workplace and enable employers, employees, and unions to deal with each other in good faith. All courses are open to employers, employees and workplace relations practitioners. Participants are likely to include those currently in team leader or supervisory positions, or those likely to become so in future, union delegates and others with responsibilities for contributing to effective workplace practices.
