Profile:

Before joining EMA Central Darren worked as an employment law advocate, and as the Human Resources and Compliance Manager in a large retail store. He was admitted to the bar in 2001.

Darren has developed a broad, practical knowledge of employment law issues, and is an experienced advocate and negotiator. He advises employers on compliance with employment related legislation, restructuring and redundancies. Darren also provides expert help in tailoring employment agreements and contracts for services to meet particular situations, and in drafting workplace policies.

Darren is an experienced trainer, and is available to carry out in-house training on employment law issues.

Darren has been employed by EMA Central since 2005, but also worked for EMA for two years previously prior to leaving to take up a role as Human Resources and Compliance Manager.
