Parental leave
Employment law allows that employees have an entitlement to parental leave and for the protection of their employment while on parental leave provided eligibility criteria are met. The provisions of the Parental Leave and Employment Protection Act are detailed and can be quite complex. Employers must meet quite stringent requirements in terms of entitlements and timetables. This course provides practical advice for the application and administration of parental leave procedures.
