Stage 1 for Health and Safety Representatives

Keeping yourself and workmates free from injury takes special knowledge and skills. This course will give you an understanding of the health and safety basics and how to get everyone at your workplace motivated for health and safety.

ACC Have extended the funding for Health and Safety Representative Training until the end of June 2012. The same criteria applies to Key Industries for ACC Funding. Please check with ECCC Learning and Development 04 470 9935.

There is a  limited amount of funding for non key industries that has been made available for all stages of Health and Safety Representative training. please download the ACC Participants form and fill in all details to be considered for the funding.

ACC Key Industries, 1 January 2012 - 30 June 2012

ACC have decreased the list of Key Industries that are funded from 1 July 2011.

A full itemised list including PCU codes available for download (see below). ACC Key industry funding is for Health and safety representative training courses.

The cost of ACC funded Health and Representative Training courses is $150+GST member and non member. The non funded rate for two day Health and Safety Representative training is $576+GST member and $684+GST non member.

Download PCU Codes Where to find ACC # and PCU Description. Your ACC number will be an Alpha followed by "7" digits then either an "E,D,S" The PCU Description and Code is "5" digits. Your ACC Number can be found at the top right of your ACC invoice and your PCU description and code can be found in the box marked calculation, then Levy Type.
