Managing Contractor Risk
This seminar looks at two key issues associated with contractor management: What is a contractor, and when does a contractor become an employee? Sometimes an arrangement that starts as a contracting arrangement may become an employment arrangement - this has major implications on your responsibilities and obligations. The Health and Safety in Employment Act places obligations on those who engage contractors to manage contractor safety. How do you do that in practice? This seminar outlines the actions you can take to take "all practicable steps" in relation to contractor safety
