Performance and Development Planning
Performance and Development planning is a process used to review how an employee has been progressing. It is also used for reaching agreement on the goals for the direction of development and learning into the future. Effective performance development processes should have positive impact on the morale and success of people. As a result it can have an impact on the retention of skilled people. To gain the most benefit from a performance appraisal, the process must be structured in such a way that it is forward-looking and focused on how to create success from the work of the appraisees.
