Multi-cultural Workplaces

Our workplaces in New Zealand are becoming increasingly diverse with full-time, part-time and casual staff from around the globe. Multi-cultural workplaces have a richness and diversity not found in single culture organisations. They do however present a number of challenges – communication where English is not the main language, dealing with prejudice, understanding other cultures and their differences, respecting differences and achieving the goals of the organisation. This programme explores multi-cultural workplaces in detail, the benefits they bring to working life and strategies for overcoming potential problems.
